Game modes
Classic
Unlimited historical drafts from the full pool of legends. Chase your personal best — replay as often as you like.
Daily
One shared draft for everyone, every day. The same pools and eras for all players, so the daily leaderboard is a fair fight. Completing it builds your streak.
World Cup
Current national squads only. Build the best international five from players in today's actual setups.
Daily twists
Each Daily can carry a twist — a one-day rule that changes how you build. Break the rule and the team won't count, so plan around it.
United NationsNo two players from the same nation.
ThrowbackInclude at least one player from before 2000.
One GalácticoAt most one player rated above 90.
Time TravelPick players from at least three different decades.
UnderdogsNo player rated above 92.

Rivalries
Every time you take on a friend's challenge, GOAT5 keeps a head-to-head record. You'll see who's leading, who won the last match, your current win streak and how your scores compare — right under your final score. Beat them and the record updates instantly. Sign in to keep rivalries synced across devices.
Seasons
Leaderboards run in monthly seasons. Each calendar month is a fresh race with its own standings, and when the month ends a champion is crowned from the top of the table. Your best scores from the current season are what rank — so there's always a reason to come back before the month is out.
Push notifications
Opt in (after you've played a bit) and GOAT5 can nudge you at the moments that matter:
- Your daily streak is about to expire tonight.
- A rival just overtook you, or it's time for revenge.
- A friend challenged you.
- Your monthly recap is ready.

FAQ
Do I need an account to play?
No. You can play instantly as a guest — your stats save on this device. Signing in with Google syncs your streak, scores, seasons, rivalries and friends across devices, and unlocks the activity feed and notifications.
What happens to my guest progress if I sign in?
We ask first. Choose to sync, and your guest streak, best scores and history merge into your Google account so nothing is lost.
What's a respin?
Each draft gives you two respins. A respin rerolls the current pool — use one when a pool doesn't fit your open slots.
Why is the top end so hard?
The high 90s are intentionally rare. Experiment with different combinations, discover your team identity, and keep chasing the perfect five.
Is the Daily the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone gets the same seed for the day, so daily scores are directly comparable.
